Looking for a space to connect with fellow creatives and discover fresh photography talent? The Photography Foundation’s NO FIXED FORM exhibition is coming to the FUJIFILM House of Photography in Covent Garden, London, showcasing work by their trainees, alumni and youth group that explores the journey of becoming and embracing the person you’re growing into.
Join the free Opening Night on Thursday 22nd October (6pm – 9pm), or head down on Friday 23rd October for free trainee-led events, including pop up portraits and a networking hour with a live DJ set, drinks and icebreaker prompts. It’s the perfect chance to grow your network and find out about the training and opportunities on offer at The Photography Foundation.

Channel 4.0 x YouTube presents: The Creator Room

Ready to learn what it really takes to grow an audience and build a career as a creator?
Channel 4.0 launched four years ago to back the next generation of creator talent, and now they’re bringing together creators, industry partners and the team behind the channel for an afternoon of conversation, insight and networking.
You’ll hear creator to creator discussions, a panel on the women shaping YouTube, lessons straight from the Channel 4.0 team and a special guest speaker, all focused on building audiences, careers and content that connects. Drinks and networking follow, so you leave with fresh ideas and new connections in the industry. This event is for emerging on-screen creators and places are limited, so apply by 5pm on Friday 16th October.

Drop-In Creative Workshops by the Roundhouse
Want to try something creative without committing to a full course? Roundhouse’s £2 drop-in workshops are back for their Autumn term, covering circus skills, theatre, DJing, music production and poetry writing – no need to book, just turn up.
Sessions run weekly through to early December and are split across age bands for 11–25 year olds, all for under £25.
Music Creators Growth Fund
(Deadline: Thursday 29th October)
Ready to take your music career to the next level?
This new fund backs music creators making original music to record, release, tour, build their team and grow their income, for activity running up to 18 months. Applicants need at least three years’ active practice, £5,000+ music income in a single year and at least 25% cash match funding.
New applicants should create their Arts Council grants profile ASAP, as approval can take up to 10 working days. Decisions arrive 22nd Dec, with Round Two opening 6th Jan 2027.
A Day with the Tesco Marketing Team – The Marketing Academy Foundation

Looking for a job in marketing but not sure where you fit? The Marketing Academy Foundation is running a free BeTheOne Employability Skills Bootcamp with the marketing team at Tesco – one of the UK’s biggest retailers – in London.
This one-day workshop helps you grow your confidence and build job-ready skills, with a mock interview and real feedback, CV and application guidance, and the chance to ask industry insiders anything. Panel and Conversation: Insights from South Asian Creatives

Curious where your creative journey could take you?
Hosted by the V&A’s Youth Producers, this afternoon opens with a connect and conversation session, followed by a panel on building resilient, meaningful creative careers with artist Bharti Kher, DominAsian Magazine founder Sophia Green and broadcaster DJ Ritu MBE. Stay for plant-based Indian food from Tava Rakh, and drop into a Create and Take session with Mush Studio.
Underscore Studios Film Fund – Underscore Studios
(Deadline: 30th November -Early Bird Deadline, Monday 1st February 2027 – Extended Deadline)
Got a short film script ready to go? The Underscore Studios Film Fund is a new annual award supporting UK-based working-class filmmakers aged 18+, run by grassroots social enterprise Underscore Studios.
The selected filmmaker receives £1,000 towards production, up to £300 in festival and distribution support, plus mentorship and script development – and keeps full ownership of their film.
Projects must be 15 minutes or under, production-ready and have a producer attached. Entry fees apply (from £12 early bird), with a concession rate available.
The White Pube Creative Grant

The White Pube Creatives Grant is a one-off £500 grant to be given out to a different working class creative practitioner based in the UK once every month.
This grant has been set up to support creatives of all ages who are early in their careers and in need of financial support.
Black Artists Grant by Creative Debuts

The Black Artists Grant offered by Creative Debuts is no-strings attached financial support to help Black artists.
You can spend the grant on whatever you want – be that make new work, buy equipment, materials or travel.
It is open to all creative disciplines, eg painters, musicians, directors, jewellers, set designers, sculptors, choreographers etc.
